A Great Photo Effect From Dan Muller

There are little arrows in each scene that connect to the other images.  A total of 23 images exist (2 of them are of Old Harry), but the rest go through the length of the fly-in showcasing many of the planes on the tarmac and in the hangars.

Apparently the arrows linking the images together doesn't work in Chrome.  However, it does work in Safari.  Not sure about Internet Explorer or Firefox, but I suspect that it should work in those.

Thanks.

Dan

2013 Is In The Record Books

With an overflow crowd in the Transient Aircraft Parking Area and more than 2,000 people walking through the front gate, the 4th Annual Friday Harbor Airport Fly-In and Open House was a resounding hit.

The day included gourmet food, face painting and FAA approved propeller-hat.  Fly-in fans enjoyed perfect weather and a flawless show.

Some rare birds and aircraft that are artwork.

Pictured at left is a WWII Bomber-Trainer, the AT-11, reported to be one of only two still flying.

This beautiful red Howard was a star of the show.

A vintage trainer, this Nanchang is painted in the spirit of the Chinese manufacturer.

The morning Pancake Breakfast was nicely done, and a bargain at 6-bucks!

Great fare and the bonus of chefs attired in the spirit of the event.
